Introducing Unlimint – formerly known as CardPay

Recently, CardPay, a European payment system, announced that it will take a new name, Unlimint. The new name comes with a brand-new logo as part of its rebranding strategy. The new brand looks different and modern. As stated in the press release, “Unlimint as a product offers a constantly evolving business interface for your business to accept and make payments globally”. The changed name reflects the new strategy of this digital bank to serve global businesses. It provides not only payment products, but also technical support, information to current and future opportunities.

Further, Unlimint informed that it invested millions of dollars in R&D to invent new products. Thus, we can expect something new from the company in the nearest future. These products may include the use of biometrics for payment protection, introduction of QR codes and new products, like kid pocket money in virtual currencies.

Unlimint was founded 2009 and since then it gained a popularity as all-in-one online payment solution for e-commerce business. Now it has 12 offices in 4 continents, including offices in the UK, Cyprus, Brazil, Hong Kong, China, Singapore, Vietnam, USA, Mexico, Kenya, Nigeria. The headquarter is located in Cyprus, Limassol. It is authorized by the Central Bank of Cyprus.

Opening an account
Unlimint supports EEA, Hong Kong, Singapore and OECD residents. All account opening and document verification is conducted online. It usually takes 5 working days to receive account opening approval (in case of a successful approval). The payment institution complies with anti-money laundering regulations and may request additional documents.

Accepting and sending payments
Customers can manage their payments through API integration and Unlimint dashboard.
Unlimint customers can accept payments through over 300 payment solutions as it supports different card brands in just one place. It partners with local payment systems, such as UnionPay from China and MIR from Russia.

Customers can order cards to set their own branding with white-label solutions. Among other options are Visa, Mastercard or UnionPay cards which can be prepaid or debit, virtual or physical.

API integration
Unlimint offers various integration process. The first step is the sandbox integration where technical support will test the integration. Further, live integration will be available for real payment and other financial operations. Through the platform it is possible to get 2 API access modes, which are payment page and gateway mode.
